Here are some of the prettiest and best functioning Australian websites and businesses that use Shopify… in Chloe’s opinion :)

This website knows exactly how to use a video on a website. The homeapge video is just want you need to see in order to understand this inflatable banana concept. I love the colour blocking they have used along with the many visuals. Having the little graphics and design sketches helps to make people understand what the product is. I find the website well functioning and easy to use… and of course fun to use as well! Down side to the site is a few pesky pop-ups.
This website is all class. Clean images and white backgrounds. They use a bold, modern font that catches the eye and screams of trendy watches and timeless pieces. The images are all well thought out as they all run seamless together and make the site look very neat and clean. I like the subtle hint of orange for a bit of pop!
This one is one of my faves for functionability. It is easy to find what you’re looking for. I love the home page. It is quirky yet not over the top. They keep to a very minimal and simple layout but it works well. Images are beautiful and warm which makes the site very welcoming.
This site is a little more on the playful side. The menu bar is in a great place and it is quick to find what you want. I like the colours that give the site a fun and youthful feeling. The site has a very professional look to it, in the sense they perceive to be a well known company with a large range of products. It would be nice to see a bit more written content on the homepage. Maybe a bit on the company or their products, anything really.
Great use of font and images. I like the Instagram feed shown at the bottom of the homepage as it is a business that would gain supporters from the images shown on social media. Menu under logo is easy to use and has everything you need. The white colour scheme suits brand well and the information is very informative. I didn’t like the moving feed of ‘results’ images as it is distracting.
A very trendy and hipster site. Use of graphics and icons makes it playful and enjoyable to browse. There is a good amount of written to visual content on the homepage. This is a great online shopping experience and they have a perfect amount of information and written content.
This is a great shopping site with a clean design. The menu bar is easy to access and is functional. The site does a wonderful job at being simple in design in order to showcase the products themselves. I find the online chat message unnecessary for this kind of site. On a positive note, overall it looks professional and of a high quality just as their products appear.
Sophistication and fashion is where it is at with The Horse website. Homepage is very bare just with an image but this works well for this kind of site as they don’t have a whole heap of products. The soft colours and trendy font make it a relaxing site to take your time enjoying and browsing. Downside is that the menu is hard to read with the image behind it.
